IMG_1663The Name: “World’s Okayest” began as a joke between my former students who become colleauges and me.  They regularly call me “World’s Okayest Mentor” to ensure I don’t get too big for my britches.  So when it came time to name the media outlet for my personal thoughts, feelings, and writings, “World’s Okayest Expert” seemed both fitting and with enough humor to not take myself too seriously.

The Basics: Lover of animal behavior, impassioned for social justice, disabled woman, demander of service animal reform. Please bring wine and cheese.

Abigail resides in Alabama.  Abigail is the founder and owner of Roverchase; a Service Animal School and Animal Behavior Facility.  Abigail shares her life with Brian the human, Macallan her service dog,  a toy poodle with purple ears, a pet pig, a very beloved ferret, a skinnypig guinea pig, and a miniature service horse in training.

Abigail’s Professional Biography:

Abigail is the founder and owner of Roverchase and has been a professional dog trainer for 15+ years. As one of the most certified dog trainers in the southeastern U.S., she holds several animal behavior credentials including; Certified Canine Behavior Consultant (CCBC-KA), Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), and one of just 70 trainers worldwide selected by Victoria Stilwell to hold the prestigious title of Victoria Stilwell Professional Dog Trainer.

Abigail is also a member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, the Pet Professional Guild, and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. She previously has worked as a veterinary technician, professional groomer, and professional pet sitter. When Abigail is not at Roverchase, as her health allows, she is often touring the country attending & teaching at continuing education seminars and events, and spending as much time at Disney World and Universal Orlando as possible!
